Types of Financial Aid
There are a variety of ways to fund your education. Your financial aid award letter may contain one or more of the major types of financial aid listed below.
Grants and Scholarships
Grants and scholarships are awarded based on various criteria and do not have to be repaid. Through the FLCC Foundation we offer many scholarships for new, returning and graduating students.
Loans
Student loans must be repaid. At FLCC we offer Federal Direct Student Loans and Federal Direct Parent Loans. In some cases, students may need private student loans. We strongly encourage students and families to borrow only what they need.
Work Study & Student Employment
FLCC provides part-time employment opportunities to full-time and part-time students through both the Federal Work Study program and the college's student aide program.
